Dejah was born on March 25th of 1998 in Queens, New York as Dejah Onika Harper. She is the daughter of an African-American father and a Filipina-Chinese mother. She always loved music and was in her highschool choir. After she graduated, she went to USC (University of Southern California) where she graduated in 2020.

She is a Grammy winning Singer, Rapper & Songwriter.

Dejah is signed to UMG (Universal Music Group) and Sims Room Records. She was formally known as "Dejah DaBrat" but then changed her stage name to "Dejah"
